Whatnot show checklist: before, during and after
Most show-night problems are small and avoidable: an empty label roll, a printer that's asleep, a bag with no number. Run through this list and the show takes care of itself.
Before you go live
- Printer on and loaded. A fresh roll, the right size chosen in TagPop, and Set size & detect label pressed if you changed rolls.
- Pre-show check. Press it in TagPop: it checks the print helper, the printer, your label size and roll, your Whatnot page and your subscription, and asks you to print and confirm a test label.
- Your show page open from your Whatnot seller dashboard, in the same Chrome window as TagPop. Refresh it once if it was already open.
- One printing computer. If a helper's laptop is running TagPop too, make sure only one has "This computer prints labels" switched on.
- Bags or boxes ready, and a pen in case a label needs a note.
During the show
- Stick each label on its item as it prints and drop it in that buyer's numbered bag.
- Keep an eye on the light at the top of TagPop: green means all good.
- Something wrong? The big STOP button stops printing and clears the print queue at once. Press Resume when you're ready.
- Breaks: random-spot labels wait until the spot is assigned; a "CORRECTED" label prints if a spot is respun.
After the show
- End the show in TagPop. It warns you if any break spots were never assigned.
- Print the buyer list (by number, or A–Z) on A4 or 6×4, or export a spreadsheet.
- Pack bag by bag, checking each against your Whatnot orders. Hold anything marked PAYMENT FAILED or VOID — do not ship.
- Reprint any lost label from the Buyers tab.
