One label printer for Royal Mail and Whatnot labels (UK)

Many UK sellers have one 6×4 thermal printer for Royal Mail postage. You don't need a second printer to label items during a Whatnot show — but you do want your postage labels to keep working afterwards.

Why it usually goes wrong

Changing the printer's default paper size for small labels means your next postage label comes out wrong, and you have to change it back. TagPop avoids this: it sets the label size for each label it prints and never changes your printer's default settings.

Two ways to set it up

  1. Keep the 6×4 roll in. Choose 100 × 150 mm in TagPop. Labels are bigger than they need to be, but there's nothing to swap.
  2. Swap to a small roll for the show. Load a small roll (for example 50 × 25 or 60 × 30 mm), choose that size in TagPop and press Set size & detect label. After the show, put the 6×4 roll back for your postage.

On big shows, a second small printer just for show labels is worth it — you won't be swapping rolls when you're tired.
