Label sizes for live selling (mm and inches)
Small labels are cheaper and fit on card sleeves and top-loaders; big ones are easier to read on a busy table. Measure one label — not the backing paper — and pick the closest size. TagPop also takes any custom size.
What each size looks like
These are real TagPop labels for the same made-up sale, made by the same code that prints yours. On smaller labels TagPop keeps the buyer number biggest and shortens what it must, but the lot number always stays whole.

Most sold in the UK, based on UK label shops and the rolls made for popular printers (checked October 2026): 100 × 150 mm is the standard Royal Mail roll; 50 × 25 and 40 × 30 mm are the most common small labels (40 × 30 is the standard roll for Phomemo M110/M220); 50 × 30 mm is MUNBYN's small roll; 60 × 30 and 60 × 40 mm are common mid-sizes.
Getting the size right
- Width × height is the label as you read it. If it comes out sideways, press Sideways once after the test label — TagPop remembers it for that printer.
- After loading a new roll, use Set size & detect label, then print a test label.
- If text is cut off or the label is shifted, press the fix button that describes it — TagPop remembers the adjustment for that printer.
- On small labels, TagPop keeps the buyer number biggest and shortens long titles so the layout never breaks.
